How it works

First it starts with a simple JavaScript include:

This JavaScript includes a file that imbeds an "iframe" window with the borders turned off and has the size set to "0". The "iframe" reads the user's path and the referral site then using JavaScript it transmits this information to another page as the source of the page to load in the iframe.

The JavaScript that reads up the User's Path and the Referral Site:
//User's Path document.URL //Referral Site document.referrer

On the new page, the variables of the referral link and the user's path are read up from the url and so are the Screen Resolution, Browser, Browser Version, Operating System, CPU, and Platform.

The JavaScript that reads up Screen Resolution, Browser, Browser Version, Operating System, CPU, and Platform:
//Screen Width screen.width; //Screen Height screen.height; //Browswer navigator.appName; //Browser Version navigator.appVersion; //Operating System navigator.userAgent; //CPU navigator.cpuClass; //Platform navigator.platform;

This information is again transmitted via a link to a PHP site where the IP address and the Host of the user are read up and then inserted into a database.

The PHP that reads up the IP and Host:
